Rental Policy

Unity Temple is a historic building of international prominence and is open to the public during reserved blocks of time for private events. Rental timeframes are always subject to availability.

We recommend you book your event as far in advance as you can to ensure you have your pick of dates.

Prospective clients are invited to tour the facility with the rental manager, available by appointment only, or you are welcome to visit for a historic tour provided for a fee by the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust. Please visit for more information.

Please note that Untiy Temple is closed for tours and rental events during church activities.


The Unity Temple sanctuary seats up to 350 people, with no seat further than 45 feet from the pulpit. The Unity House can accommodate: up to 120 for a sit-down dinner with dance floor; for less formal events we can accomodate up to 175 for a seated dinner in unity House + foyer;  225 for a cocktail party; and of course the building can be used for an intimate reception. The two terraces can also be used at no additional cost.  Rental fees will vary between $1,000 - $5,000+ based on numerous factors; timeframe, AV needs, congregational membership status, ministers fees, etc. Please email for more information.
