 Mindfulness Explorations:  Developing a Life Journey of Compassion and Joy

This six-week course starts January 21 and goes through and including February 25, with a make-up snow day option on March 4. This course is open to participants new to mindfulness, meditation, and Buddhism as well as to more experienced practitioners. Course size is limited to 25 people.  Sign up early as a wait list is anticipated. If you know in advance that you will miss more than one class it is best to wait to sign up until the class is offered again. 
During this class, we will practice and discuss techniques by which we can live our lives more skillfully from a place of compassion and joy. The class will consist of basic mediation skill development along with specific practices to enhance the development of compassion and joy. Lectures, mediation practice times (no more than 10 minutes at a time), as well as large and small group discussions will be used to explore the material.  You may meditate on chairs or bring your own cushion.  Laughter and camaraderie will be encouraged!
