Activism through Song Workshop

Join Melanie DeMore, singer songwriter, composer conductor in an activism through song workshop on Sunday, January 14 at Unity Temple.

This course is for all those who have longed to raised their voices in protest with power, determination and energy. Participants learn songs from various vocal and communal traditions and how to sing from and with their whole selves. $20 suggested donation ($10 for students). MLK Day Event

Please join other members from Unity Temple and Chicago area congregations on Monday, January 15th to stand for social justice and celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This annual event is sponsored by the Community Renewal Society and will take place at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 700 West Adams, Chicago. Bus transportation from the Oak Park will be available for a nominal donation to defray costs. Attendees wishing to ride the bus should meet at 7:30 a.m. at Unity Temple.
