Unity Temple is located at the intersection of Lake Street and Kenilworth Avenue in downtown Oak Park, Illinois.
From downtown Chicago, take the Eisenhower Expressway west (I-290) to Harlem Ave. (Illinois Rt. 43) and exit north. Go north on Harlem, and turn right on Lake Street. Proceed east to the intersection of Lake and Kenilworth.
From O'Hare Airport, take I 294 (Tri-State Tollway) south to the Eisenhower Expressway East (I 290). Exit at Harlem going north and proceed to Lake St. Turn right on Lake Street. and go east to Kenilworth Ave.
By CTA train, take the Green Line from downtown Chicago and exit at the Oak Park Avenue stop. Walk one block north to Lake Street, turn left, and walk one block west.
The Metra West line also stops in Oak Park at Marion Street.

Limited free street parking is available on Kenilworth. We try to leave these
spaces available for visitors and senior citizens. But these may not be
available when you arrive.There are parking meters on North
Boulevard and South Boulevard (adjacent to train tracks) between Kenilworth and Oak Park.
Be careful not to park in areas reserved for permit parking - you may get a
ticket!
There
are also parking meters on Lake Street.
There are two Oak Park Village Parking Garages within walking distance of
Unity Temple. The cost for parking at these garages is very low - less than a
dollar! Parking is free on weekends. Garage locations:
- on North Boulevard just east of Oak Park Avenue
- on Lake Street and Forest (the next light west of
Unity Temple on Lake)
On Sundays, you can park at Bright Cleaners, 100 S. Kenilworth at South
Boulevard.
Parking is also available during Sunday services in the underground parking
garage at the Oak Park Public Library. The library is across Lake Street from
Unity Temple, at 834 Lake Street. You must take a ticket when entering the garage, and validate it
at the "Pay On Foot" station when you return - before getting into your car! Parking is free for the first 2 hours.
