Adult Religious Education Committee. Comprised of the Center for Spiritual Development and the Lyceum, the Adult RE Committee seeks to promote the religious, spiritual, ethical, and emotional well-being of adult members and friends, enhance the collective life of the congregational community, and provide a presence for liberal religious and ethical values within the larger community. Archives Committee. Gathers, preserves, and makes accessible the records of enduring value to the
congregation; these may be historical, legal, or administrative in nature.

Canvass Committee. Conducts an Annual Canvass of financial pledges from all members and friends of the congregation to fund the annual operating budget, promoting an ethos of generosity and financial responsibility toward the needs of the congregation. Caring Committee. Provides concrete support and assistance to members and friends in need and in crisis. Contact the Caring Committee by e-mail at caring

Chalice Circle Committee. Develops and oversees 'Chalice Circles,' which are small, lay-facilitated groups seeking to bring daily life to religious community and religious values to daily life through intentional relationship. Contact the Chalice Circle Steering Committee by e-mail at chalice

Childcare Planning Group. Creates childcare policies, maintains
childcare provider lists and process for securing childcare for congregational
activities, oversees training and childcare provisions, and liaises with the
Children's RE Committee.
Children's Religious Education Committee. Works with the Director of Religious Education to plan and oversee religious education for children and youth aimed at instilling liberal religious values and encouraging identification with Unitarian Universalism. Coffee Hour / Hospitality Coordinator. Works to enhance the quality
and variety of Sunday service coffee hours.
Committee on the Ministry. Provides advocacy for and support and counsel to the minister, with particular attention to relations between the minister and congregation. Contact the Committee on the Ministry by e-mail at ministry

Communications Committee. Publicizes congregational events and news in a timely and effective manner, primarily through local media

Development Task Force. The Task Force exists to create a development
plan for UTUUC that will increase the financial stewardship of UTUUC.

Facility Task Force. The Task Force exists to determine and recommend
options for meeting the congregation's expanding facility needs.
Finance Committee. Ensures the maintenance of sound and responsible financial practices by the congregation. Contact the Finance Committee by e-mail at finance

Flowers Committee. Ensures that flowers and appropriate decorations are scheduled for each Sunday service, and for Christmas and Easter holiday services. Contact the Flowers Committee by e-mail at flowers

Fund-Raising Committee. Develops and oversees fund-raising activities, with particular emphasis (by an auction sub-committee) on the annual Auction, raising supplemental funds for the annual operating budget, while providing opportunities for social fellowship. Information Technology Committee. Optimizes and supports the technological communication capabilities of the congregation, both internal and external. Contact the Technology Committee by e-mail at technology

Intergenerational Committee. Promotes intergenerational activities within the congregation, spending moneys funded by the Davison Fund. Contact the

Interweave. Acts as resource on matters related to gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transgender concerns within the congregation, denomination, and community. Promotes our commitment as a Welcoming Congregation. Contact the Interweave by e-mail at interweave

Long Range Plan Implementation Task Force. The Task Force exists to
monitor and guide the progress toward completing the goals of the congregation's
long range strategic plan.
Membership Committee. Facilitates the welcome, engagement, and integration of newcomers within the congregation, and promotes the retention of older members. Contact the Membership Committee by e-mail at membership

Music and Worship Committee. In collaboration with the minister, music director, and staff, provides for a meaningful service experience each Sunday of the church year that is consistent with our shared traditions, aspirations, and vision. Pastoral Associates. (Trained and appointed lay associates): Provide pastoral support and counsel to congregants dealing with such issues as bereavement, serious illness, or death and dying. Contact the Pastoral Associates by e-mail at pastoralassociates

Program Council Coordinator(s). Works with Committee Chairs and Board
of Trustees to share program information and discuss issues of import to
committees and their functioning.
Social Mission Working Group and Council. Develops, promotes, and oversees the social mission responsibilities of the congregation. Membership composed of chairperson (community minister or lay person), All-Congregations Project Leaders, and Working Group Volunteers.
