Chalice Circles
Chalice Circles are an opportunity for congregation members and friends to participate in small groups in which they explore the bedrock questions of life and faith. This small group approach to ministry offers a committed group in which you come to be known and to know others well.
In this time when people's lives are rushed and fragmented, such an opportunity can be transformational. This is the overarching purpose of Chalice Circles.
Chalice Circles are ongoing groups of about ten adults meeting monthly or bimonthly. Groups may be organized around a common life-situation, challenge, or interest, or may be of a more diverse nature. All feature a time of centering and personal check-in. Important themes are explored, such as the values expressed in the UUA Principles, religion and spirituality, beauty and grace, despair, justice, anger and other "negative" emotions, death, rituals in our daily lives, love, forgiveness, or transitions. Each small group is led by a trained facilitator.
