The Third Reconstruction Book Discussion

As part of our ongoing focus on racial, economic, and environmental justice, please join us for a book discussion on the role of the faithful citizen in shaping a new political movement. A moral movement that is not right or left, Republican or Democrat, but one based on principles and morals.

BOOK: The Third Reconstruction: Moral Mondays, Fusion Politics, and the Rise of a New Justice Movement, by the Reverend Dr. William J. Barber II with Jonathan Wilson-Hartgren (Beacon Press, 2016)

Rev. Dr. Barber II is the leader of Moral Mondays, Forward Together, and the NAACP of North Carolina. We will meet at the back of the United Lutheran sanctuary. Refreshments will be served at a reserved table during Coffee Hour; but, bring a sandwich to eat before the discussion. Copies will be available at the Ex Libris table during Coffee Hour or can be purchased from your favorite bookseller. Please RSVP to [email protected].
