Summer Religious Education For Children And Youth
Our congregation runs a little bit like the school calendar in that things are a little lighter in the summer. We will have one worship service at 9 a.m. on 12 Sundays beginning June 17th through September 2nd (Labor Day weekend). On those Sundays, our nursery will be open as usual, AND there will be multi-age programming for those preschool through elementary age. (Older children are always welcome as helpers.) Our theme this year is nature. Our Summer Religious Education coordinator is Julianna Engel and a group of our own Unity Temple teenagers will be our teachers. It's designed both for those who come all summer AND for those who are here for only a weekend or two. Hope to see you this summer!
Help Us Help You--Register Now For 12-13 Congregational Year!
Registration for classes beginning in the fall for our children and youth is now open! If your children are currently registered for this year's program, there is a pre-printed form at Unity Temple waiting for you. Or you can CLICK HERE for a blank form. The earlier you register, the earlier we are able to organize and plan for the fall. Your up to date registration helps us communicate better with you as well. Thanks for your help!
We Can't Thank You Enough!!
Our classroom volunteer dinner is Friday, May 18th at 6:00 p.m. All classroom volunteers, spouses and children are welcome. Dinner, chocolate fountain and massages for volunteers are part of our fun evening. Please RSVP to Emily if you did not do so online.
Dedication for Babies and Young Children
In Unitarian Universalism, we celebrate the new lives among us in a dedication ceremony, where the gathered community acknowledges their role in helping the new lives unfold. On Sunday, June 3, at both services, we will be dedicating the children of UTUUC members. (We generally do this twice a year, once in December and once in May.) If you would like to have your child(ren) dedicated that day, pleased speak to either Rev. Alan Taylor or Rev. Emily Gage.
Our young people need YOU!
Would you like to build relationships with some of the wonderful young people in our congregation? Would you like to strengthen your Unitarian Universalist identity by exploring your faith while learning with others? Would you like to build new connections? Then volunteering to work with our young people in their learning groups might be for you! If you are considering volunteering or are ready now, please be in touch with Rev. Emily Gage. Training, support and fun are included!!
