BEAUTIFUL MUSIC,

worthy cause....
please join us for
THE MUSIC THE HEART BEARS: CHRIS NEMETH AND FRIENDS.
For this
one-night-only event,
Chicago violinist Chris Nemeth is joined by an all-star group in a performance
to benefit the
restoration
of Frank Lloyd Wright's historic landmark
Unity Temple. Constructed
between 1905 and 1909, Unity Temple is considered by
many (including Wright, himself) to be his most successful and important
architectural achievement.
For this soulful and romantic evening, Chris and friends will explore the
striking parallels between the life and work of Wright,
and the late Argentinean tango master Astor Piazzolla. The first half of the
program will present classical pieces (including Bach, Ravel and Brahms)
which formed the artistic and aesthetic underpinnings for Piazzolla's
revolutionary "nuevo tango". The second half will be devoted to
Piazzolla's music, itself; the very music that has elevated tango to a true
concert hall art form around the world.
And, to round out the
evening, the audience is invited to join the performers for post-concert
reception that includes a complementary
Argentinean wine tasting, courtesy of the popular Forest Park wine boutique,
HouseRed.
Surely, this is
one evening
NOT TO BE MISSED.
